Hi, My Dad Who Is Usually Fit And Well Has

Hi, my dad who is usually fit and well has had bladder trouble for awhile. Following a urine infection it was discovered he had a PSA of 12.6 an he had a cystoscopy today which showed a hard irregular prostate. He is now waitng for an urgent TRUS but it also showed a large bladder capacity, trabeculated bladder wall with posterior wall diverticula (small and clear), occlusive prostate. We understand that he may well have prostate cancer but is the bladder problem related ie can the obstruction be likely due to a tumour given the prostate situation or is this a separate problem?

Thanks
