Hi,
approx 8 weeks ago I had protected sex with a sex worker, which involved a few minutes of oral fllowed by about 10 mins of vaginal penetration (both protected). A day after the encounter I started having bad anxiety and worrying that I had caught something, over the next 6 days I noticed my glans get red and I was urinating frequently.

Exactly 1 week after the encounter I saw my GP who gave me urine and blood tests to check for STDs (I believe they test for most everything but am unsure about trichomoniasis), she also gave me some antibiotics while I waited for the results (cephalexin ~ 2 pills in the morning and 2 at night for 5 days) my results came back a few days later (all clear) but I finished the course of antibiotics anyway.

Approx 2 weeks after I saw my GP (3 weeks after the encounter) the redness on my glans (which arrived after the encounter and persisted for the 3 weeks) seemed to get worse, this was during the holidays and it was difficult to see my GP, I had a repeat prescription for the Cephalexin and began taking them until I could see my GP again which I was able to do a few days after starting the antibiotics again. She told me I was stressing too much and gave me some hydrozole cream, she also gave me another urine test to check for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea only, the test was clear again.

The hydrozole cream had minimal effect for the redness on my glans and I began noticing a clear discharge from my penis (clear like water and very sticky) I returned to my GP again who refused to test me again for STDs but did give me a urine test to check for infection (not specific to STDs) and gave me another round of antibiotics (this time Augmentin Duo Fort ~ the same 2 pills in morning and 2 at night for 5 days) I completed the 5 day course of these antibiotics.

It has now been about 8 weeks since the encounter, I have been using the hydrozole cream on and off and it does seem to be slowly clearing up the redness on my glans.

HOWEVER, this afternoon I had discharge again, more than the usual slight sticky wetness at the end of my penis, this time a CLEAR sticky liquid that I could literally pull out of my penis. I had urinated earlier and had NOT been aroused at all. I did however have a bowel movement shortly after (about 10 mins after I noticed the discharge).

I am scared that I have something that is not showing up, I am frightened of passing this on too someone else. could my blood test have been too early? Could antibiotics have thrown off my second and third tests? What is causing this clear discharge?

A quick note about the red glans, it gets worse when I am erect though sometimes noticeable even when I am not. I have very tiny red spots (like the sharp end of a needle size) that cover the whole glans but they are not raised, they do not hurt, they do not itch, they are not liquid filled and are not the type of small spots that could burst or even have liquid) I have had no burning during or after urination or ejaculation. I have been using the hydrozole every night for the past 5 days and it is looking the best it has been since the encounter.
