Hi,

Please explain this scan report to me.

I haven't had my periods in 2 months so i went for a pelvic scan and got the following result;
The uterus is bulky (ap=55mm) with smooth outline and homogenous myometrial echogenicity.
No intrauterine gestational sac is seen in situ.
Endometrial layer is well defined with thickness of 13mm.
The right ovary is enlarged with no follicle in situ. It measures about 13m/s while a thick walled complex cyst strands with diffuse fibrinous strands in situ is seen in left ovary.
