Hi. My son was bitten by fire ants 2 days ago. Yesterday a couple of the blisters popped (on their own) and now he has a small hole where one of the blisters was. Its also pretty red around the area. It doesn't seem to be bothering him, but should I be concerned about infection? Also, what type of reaction is normal. His foot was really red and feverish yesterday. I am just wondering if it would be wise to have an epi pen handy in case it happens again and is worse.
