Hi, My Fourteen Year Old Daughter Dislocated Right Patella In
Hi, My fourteen year old daughter dislocated right patella in January of this year. She dislocated it getting into the backseat of a car and she did not knock it before hand. She also loves horse riding and is at the stables for 5-6 hours a day for as often as she can be. For as long as she can remember She has had pain in both of her legs. If she was very active on a particular day her knees and ankles would be swollen and her legs would be very painful. Her feet also turn inwards when She walks and She has mild scoliosis in her upper back and although she has been referred onwards I have not received an appointment yet. In the knee She did not dislocate She still has bad pain and the knee She did not dislocate (apart from residual pain from the dislocation) is not painful. Have you got any idea what is causing this or what a good course of action would be? She is seeing a physiotherapist but I would appreciate some straight answers and opinions!
