Hi. I was just at the doctor for a horrible deep dry burning cough and a very stuffy head. I had no voice and There is liquid behind my ears. Anyway, I got a steroid shot, antibiotic and Bromfed cough syrup. Then, Monday, two days later, I was worse. Went back and yhey called it mild bronchitis. Coughing so much I couldnt sleep, still couldnt clear my head congestion. Got a pack of prednisone, and a stronger cough syrup. Today, I am feeling like Im getting better, but now I feel like I cant cough anything up, and I still have horrible congestion in my head. My question is, can I take Mucinex? What can I take to clear my head? Its like I cough so hard, nothing comes up, but then my head pounds because of all the liquid in my head and the coughing. Plus I feel like I need to cough and can't.
