Hi I Think This Could Take A Bit Of Time,

Hi I think this could take a bit of time, but here goes. Our 3 year old black lab X came back from a short stay at our kennel last Monday. All was fine Monday. Tuesday he threw up his regular morning meal which included a rice cake. Then he refused dinner felt yucky and threw up right before bedtime. Wednesday he was held off food and water. Thursday he seemed to be feeling better and ate approx. a third his normal daily intake of dog food. He seemed more more peppy but then Friday he was yucky again. All laid out and refusing water and food. I called my vet of 33 years and insisted the dog be seen asap. So he goes in...temp is normal, not really tummy sensitive, and seems for peppy for show. Dr. takes him into clinic last night for IV fluids and blood work. This morning we picked him up (he was discharged for Christmas due to clinic closing) and he seemed a bit better but is still very obviously feeling punk. His bloodwork seemed "normal" per the other vet's phone call this morning. They said "we do not know" what this is but keep him on a bland diet and only lease walks.
One thing I did not think of until tonight is this dog has been getting at least 2 McDonald's chicken nuggets and maybe a few fries for weeks. I fault myself as he is now my only child at home. Could this be causing an acute bout of pancreatitis?
