Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have had this pain on the top of my right foot below my big toe for a couple of years now. It really did not bother me if I wore flat shoes. if I wore high heels I had major pain even a half an inch would cause great pain. But Now I would say for the past two months or longer just walking causes me great pain. For the last couple of weeks just laying in bed I am in constant pain, I now walk with a limp because it is painful to walk even in good walking shoes. Sometimes when I and trying to go to sleep the pain in my foot is just throbbing so much I can't fall asleep. I thought maybe I might have a bone spur or something. If so can I get surgery or something so I don't have to stop walking? I have already gained too much weight these past couple of months, I was walking one - two miles a day. Any help would be great. Thank you, Lori H.
