Hi I Have Had Headaches For Around 5 Months. They

Hi I have had headaches for around 5 months. They have progressively got worse. Over time I started to have the odd time where I felt like I was going to fall and would have to grab hold of something or put my hands out to balance myself, this would only be when I was walking, or if I was standing I would feel like I was falling -mostly backwards. Would also have good days though where I just had a bit of a headache & could get through the day, although usually quite tired by night time, would feel unwell and energy levels down. Good days were initially probably 75%. This slowly dropped to around 50%. The last two weeks I have had more bad days than good & am no longer having any days that I am feeling well all day. This last week I have been very off balance and have to take everything very slowly or the waves of light headiness take over. I have pain behind my nose & eye socket that radiates to the back of my head. A popping sensation in my nose-sort of like when you are getting a cold but I haven't got a cold. Very loud whoosing sound of my heartbeat in left ear and ear sometimes feels hot inside. (I used to have a sound like an electric fence shorting in the same ear but that seems to have gone now) Feel very woolly and spacey which seems to wave through my head. The off balance feeling used to only be while walking but I now get waves of it even when sitting, although movement does seem to aggravate things especially if I move my head or eyes too quickly or look up or to either side and at times for seemingly no reason. My work mates have told me they can tell when things are too much as my face drains to white. Getting nausea every day and have vomited most days over the last week. Went to an aquarium that had a moving platform travelling through a fish tunnel-was horrific had to quickly get out and felt very ill.Even fast moving flickering scenes on TV aren't great but seem to be able to focus (sometimes feel like focused on outside but not quite computing inside)When really off balance also find pulse sound in ear increases and my own footsteps become a loud muffled sound inside ears but can't hear them outside of ear, as woolly feeling clears can hear them on outside of ear but also still get muffled sound inside head until I become fully balanced. Bending down or moving around becomes impossible on bad days. Have occasional stabbing pains in back of head but mostly just a continuous ache. I do have a lump on the back of my head but Dr is not sure if it is just my glands enlarged. I am booked for a CT scan next week and have been referred to a neurologist but she is apparently away for a month. I am definitely getting worse but today have had a reasonably good day with just a headache, pulse in ear, nausea and the odd off balance moment when walking. I don't know whether I should push harder to see a neurologist but am concerned that symptoms are getting worse and more often and do need to sort asap both for financial and well being reasons. Blood tests & my blood pressure were all fine when taken about 6 weeks ago. Would getting on the waiting list for an MRI be beneficial as the health system in NZ doesn't do anything quickly unless you have the money to pay. Any advice?Thank you.
