Hi! I Have Gastrointestinal Issues -- Diverticulosis And A "slow/malfunctioning"

Hi! I have gastrointestinal issues -- diverticulosis and a "slow/malfunctioning" gallbladder. I had been quite ill over the past two months and my doc sent me for a HIDA scan (they were considering removing the gallbladder). They said the results were normal but he couldn't explain why for 90 minutes after receiving the dye intravenously, my gallbladder did absolutely nothing -- no draining at all. After 5 CCK shots, it drained about halfway over 40 minutes. If that is normal, WHY did it only drain AFTER the CCK injections -- what was the 90 minutes for that I had to lie still and not move as my gallbladder was being filmed? Also, what would you consider to be my next step as I had pain, burning and extreme bloating (not from foods as I was on the diet they put me on and on Omeprazole and still having the extreme bloating Sxs and pain -- upper right quadrant, radiating to my back). I was told to stay on the Omeprazole for 3 months and see how I feel then.
