Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I had surgery 9 weeks ago to remove a pancreatic lymphangioma. it was meant to be whipple surgery but fortunately my surgeon was able to avoid this and just removed the tumour and my gallbladder. I have been recovering ok but have developed a sharp pain in my abdomen right side when sneezing, coughing, laughing, on standing, walking and bending down. I also experience pelvic pain and had a recent ultrasound which showed ovaries ok. Uterus enlarged to 9.5cm but not cause for concern and fibroids. I am 50 years old and first became unwell in January of this year since then have had IBS symptom with frequent bowel movements and intermittent rectal bleeding. Colonoscopy in March was clear. Do you have any ideas as to what may be causing the sharp abdominal pain?
