Hi. I get lower left abdomen pain when I eat and when I have a BM. I lost 3 and a half stone last year due to an undiagnosed bowel disorder. Since my previous diet was pizza and junk food like chocolate and crisps I was told to eat fruit, veg and fibre. It was the introduction of these that caused my weight loss and since all this I am scared to eat so I eat barely nothing. I have weetabix in the morning, egg sandwich at lunch and 6 peanut butter sandwiches with 4 Granola Squares (UK Oat Cakes). I also have 2 37gram protein shakes inbetween. I am trying to gain weight but every time I eat that day I have a BM and end up with slight pain on the left side lower rib. When I eat I used to get upper middle abdomen pain and left abdomen pain. These symptoms have got better but still exists esp if I drink a pint of water after I eat.
I had negative stools, bloods, ct, endoscopy and biopsies. All negative, my real Dad had Acute Pancreas due to alcohol hence they checked that in the tests. But everyone says the pains are in my head but I believe they are real as are the toilet breaks which went from 6 - 7 a day down to about max of 4 now. Only because I cut out fruit and veg, I het my fibre from bread only now. I had to stop eating as I lived on the toilet. So does this sound like IBS/Chrons or just bad luck please? I really need help.
