Hi. I am a 31 year old female. I have some sort of lesions similar to zits which now cover most of my body. It started on my chest and buttocks, then spread to my arms, back (upper and lower) stomach, thighs to my knees. It started over a year ago when I had my son. My hormones changed a lot! I sweat uncontrollably, which I know doesn't help. Itchy rashes also come and go under my breasts where it comes in contact with my bra. I am seeing both a doctor and a dermatologist about this, but we are all still unsure of the cause, what it it, and how to treat it. Some guesses have been foliculitis, but it keeps worsening. I've tried antibiotics, anti-fungal meds (Terbinafine) and steroids. No luck. I just read of drug induced dermatosis which can be caused by adderall, which I am prescribed and do sometimes abuse. So with all those factors (hormones, amphetamine use, and excessive sweating) do you have an opinion on what it could be and/or how to get rid of it? I am getting a biopsy on Dec. 3rd after I have gotten all of the Terbinafine out of my system, but this has been devastating to my social life and my self confidence. I can send pics if needed.
