Hellooo! I was driving home from work, I had a headache so I took 2 Nurofen Zavance tablets. I didn't have any water so I just swallowed them... 5 minutes later, I felt this excruciating burning sensation in my throat/upper chest. I stopped at a petrol station and gulped down a bottle of water, ate a banana and a snickers bar... My pain hasn't stopped and I can't seem to swallow anything other than water! It has been 5 hours.. I went to see a GP at the medical centre and they told me to wait it out.. What can I do? I have also drank a a lot of gastrogel...for relief... Can I take some NEXIUM tablets?
