Hello, strange but true, i have had majer digestive system problems since i was born..it has been uncomfortable issue after issue for about 50 years...a couple of years ago a mental health counselor had prescribed me gabapentin for other issues such as depression and bipolar because some side affects of the med helped with calming nerves and one of the side affects of gab was such like a mood stabalizer....all well and good however about a month or less into the usage i realized i was not having any symtoms of irrritable bowl or digestive issues or atleast my condition had increased to the good about 80% at that point...a couple weeks to alittle longer i was have no problems whatsoever with my lifetime digestive problems......dont know if gabapentin was ever known for healing that kind of problem but i have been on it now for about 2 and a half years and it has been absolutely miraculous ..!.....please tell me if it had ever been known for healing that kind of issue...
