Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, so about a week ago I was at work and I turned the wrong way and twisted my foot. There was some pain, but I didn't worry about it and was sure that the pain would go away in a couple of days. It's been a little over a week and the pain is still there. The pain is on top of my foot and toes. For some reason it seems worse when I wake up in the mornings. My foot is very stiff and hard to move and it's even painful to put on my shoes. There is little evidence of swelling and brusing. My pain has been increasing and it's getting more painful to walk. I believe that I may have sprained it, but there is no swelling. I have been putting ice on it and taking inflammatory medication, but nothing is helping.
