Hello doctor, my father was diagnosed with bowel cancer and I need some advise on medical treatments to his condition. His diagnosis was not written in english so the following is my translated version.
Seen by naked eye: The Ileum is appx 26 cm in length, 3.5 - 5 cm in circumference. Cecum and ascending colon together has a length of appx. 24 cm, 6 - 10 cm in circumference. A ulcerative lump by size 7 * 6 * 0.7 cm can be seen close to ileocecal valve, and it occupies 2/3 of the intestine lumen.
Diagnosis: Ulcerative signet ring cell carcinoma of Iluem. The tumour is 7 *6 * 0.7 cm in size, and has invaded into serous membrane. No carcinoma is detected at great omentum, cutting edge of mesentery, two cutting edges of intestine or appendix. Of the 12 lymph node samples tested, 8 have the appearance of metastatic tumour.
