Hello doctor, i had an hiv exposure on sep 24. I was having sex with a sex worker and the condom broke and i was unprotected for about less than 2 minutes. I started PeP 60 hours after exposure. The nightOctober 14 i noticed my groin lymph nodes are a little tender. I went to work and my nodes started to feel tender one after one the neck, the armbits and my niece. Last night the relieved a little bit but started to feel tender again all over my body today. I can sleep because when i lay down they are hurting . I wnet the ER last night and doctor said there is no swelling. I had a little nighht sweats last night also. All my body aches and its on off specially when i walk for a while or lay down. Does this mean PEP failure and my immune system is fightin the virus. Are activated lymph nodes all over my body a clear sign of infection. Thanks for your . Please
