Hello! My 68 yr old father has COPD and possible enlarged prostrate, of course he still smokes and drinks his beer and rarely gets up to move around unless he's heading to bed or bathroom! Ok, the other day his foot and ankle was swollen, red and purple, after elevating it for a few hours the swelling went down but the discoloration is still there. He said it doesn't hurt or tingle, but today the foot looks like it's turning black!!! I think of his breathing, which has been hard to do especially with all the flem he always tries choking up all day. He just keeps saying he don't feel right, like flu symptoms. What do you think??
