Hello. I'm 22 Years Old. I Have Had Normal Regular

Hello. I'm 22 years old. I have had normal regular periods that last about 5 days. I started my period on April 12 and it was normal just like other periods. Two weeks later, I began cramping in my lower abdomen and lower back. It felt just like cramping during my period, but it hurt much worse. The pain was so excruciating that I even cried some days. After more than a week of this horrible pain I went to my doctor where they did a vaginal ultrasound and saw that I had some fluid in the cul de sac, so my doctor told me that I likely had a cyst rupture. At this point, there still had been no bleeding. A few days later on May 8 I started my period. However, this period is not normal. It has gotten heavier as each day passes, and no sign of it ending. Today is the 7th day of bleeding, I have very abnormally heavy bleeding as well as much, much, more clotting than any previous period. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
