Hello. I Have Developed Persistent Left Upper Quadrant Pain; Not

Hello. I have developed persistent left upper quadrant pain; not intense pain, but a twinging feeling, like cramping, and a constant feeling of heaviness in that area. Today this discomfort is stronger. This has been accompanied by frequent bowel movements...4-5 a day. I recently had an US of the abdomen. This showed 3 small gallbladder "polyps" and liver hemangiomas (which have been there for quite a while). However showed nothing in the left upper quadrant. Is this where the small intestine comes across the upper abdomen? The discomfort is on the left side, at the waist area, and just is a strong discomfortable feeling of twinging and kind of goes up into area right under left rib cage. My abdomen seems very gassy
and bloated. My GP doesn't know what's causing this pain. Thoughts please?
