I am 64 years old in excellent health, except I had an accident on a push bike appx. 6 months ago. Stupid me! the bike seat was too high. I was stationary at the time, still sitting on seat, I fell to my left to my left side, but with a twist to my right in the air, I hit the ground with my right hip, now resulting in bursitis. I have had 2 quartazone injections to date & I was pain free for about 3 days. I find it hard too lay on right side of a night, therefore mostly, laying on my left side, putting pressure on heart muscles.
I have received 2 months phsio & I'm really not sure if there is any cure at all, or, considering my age, should I be seeing a an op. before I obviously get any older........ as I don't really want to wait too long for op. that is if anything can be done!
