Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I am 40w and 5d pregnant & I was told last wednesday that i have a tilted uterus. My cervix was thinned but I was only dialated at 2cm. My doctor said my cervix was hard to reach and he said if nothing changes by this tuesday (2/9/16) hes just going to schedule me a csection. I am terrified! I have read about lots of women that also have a tilted uterus that have claimed to still give birth vaginally with either no problem (slightly tipped) or with having to push longer w/use of a vacuum (badly tipped). I guess i am wondering your opinion and maybe an answer as to why I am being forced into a cesarean when lots of other women are giving birth just fine with a tipped uterus. Thank you!
