Heart Flutter, Cough, No Pain. Worried

Hi, for the past week or so I started to get an odd flutter of the heart and it makes me cough a little. It does not hurt, but it worries me a bit. I am not stressed nor do I consume a lot of caffeine. I am overweight but for the past month I have been on medifast and losing weight at a steady pace. I do not have health insurance at the moment, and am not sure if I should be worried. Thanks

Hi

Thanks for asking.

Heart flutter or the palpitations can have multiple causes, which needs to be investigated.

Specially if you are losing weight at a steady rate, you need to see a doctor to go for some investigations to reach a diagnosis.

Thanks.
