Hearing Soft Fizzing/popping After Cough & Difficulty In Swallowing

I'm hearing a soft fizzing/popping after I cough. Other symptoms: frequent violent coughing- each fit clears everything out but next fit follows soon after. Throat very raw- makes swallowing difficult- some streaks of blood occasionally in mucus- believe this is from minor injury to throat from violent coughing

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You are having difficulty in swallowing and fits of violent coughing. These are seen commonly with obstructive esophageal pathology.
So first consult gastroenterologist and get done upper GI scopy to rule out obstructive lesion.
If this is normal then consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out bronchitis.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
Don't worry, you will be alright. But first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
