Headache, Light Headed, Slight Diarrhea, Random Muscle Cramps. Anything To Worry?

Hello, so I have had this head ache for 3 days in a row,and every time I stand up I get really light headed. I also have slight diarrhea , and just today I started to get random muscle cramps that were like a really tight pinch throughout the lower abdomen that go away after about 10 seconds each time. . and no it is not from menstrual cramps because that just passed about 5 days ago.
Is this something I should be concerned about or will it pass?

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that you might be having orthostatic hypotension(postural hypotension) resulting in dizziness on standing.
In this, the blood pressure falls when you sit from lying position or stand from sitting position.

It can be due to hypovolemia which may result due to anemia or dehydration due to diarrhoea.
You should maintain your hydration by drinking hydrating fluids.

Diarrhoea and and abdominal cramps can be due to infection in the gastrointestinal tract. You can take antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice daily, antiamoebic like Metronidazole 400 mg thrice daily, a probiotic, an antacid like Omeprazole 40 mg once a day before meals. Dicycloverine can be taken for abdominal cramps.

Have light meals with less spice and oil. Eat food prepared under hygienic conditions only.

If the problem persists, get yourself clinically examined and investigated.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
