Head Pressure, Weakness, Tingling In Left Arm. Stress Test, Blood Work Normal. Stroke Symptoms?

Hello. I ve been having pressure in my head, weakness tingling and pain in my left arm . And sometimes light headed. I was admitted to er 10/12/12 and discharged the next day. Thru ran stress test , did blood work and stated everything was ok. I m afraid this may be a stroke or anuerism. Plz help. Sorry for misspelled words

Thank you for posting your query.

First of all, I want to reassure you that these are it the symptoms of stroke in your case.

Tingling of the entire half of body (head, face, arm and leg) can be a symptoms of stroke, however, tingling only of arm can not be. Tingling of arm is often due to cervical spondylitis and disc bulges.

Similarly, light headedness and heaviness of head are non-specific symptoms and do not suggest stroke.

However, you can do all the screening tests for risk factors for stroke (if not already done):
1. BP
2. Blood sugars,
3. Lipid (cholesterol) profile,
4. Serum homocysteine

If any of the above are abnormal, appropriate treatment would be required.
