Head Banged On Bar, Heard Crunching Sound In Neck, Bump Formed, Very Painful. Treatment?
Hi, earlier today playing with my 3 year old in a soft play centre I banged my head on a bar, I was moving forward/upward so it was quite an impact. When it happened I heard a kind of crunching noise in my neck. I m now left with a bump above my forehead/front of my head and a painful/ stiff neck . Any advice welcome. Thankyou.

Do you have any other symptoms apart from crunching sound in neck?
Neck and its neurological contents are so sensitive that if you got some sort of injury in neck then there is high possibilities of pain & weakness in lower limbs, unconsciousness, difficulty in respiration & effect on cardiovascular system (respiratory & cardiac center in medulla of brain).
Bruise & hematoma formation may occur due to soft tissue injury at forehead.
Bruise and hematoma may require 10-14 days for recovery.
There may also be possibility of muscle sprain and require muscle relaxants.
You should consult with internal medicine specialist/ orthopedic surgeon and should go for x ray cervical spine.
You should apply thrombophob ointment for faster recovery of hematoma on forehead.
