Having Numb Feeling In Skin. Took Benadryl For Skin Rash, Ate Chips And Cashew. Underlying Cause

my 12 year old son developed an allover skin rash overnight. they are not welts or hives just an all over redness. it is itchy and on his scalp also but not his face. we gave him 2 benadryl when he woke up this morning 12 hours ago. he now says his skin feels numb. He ate Kale chips yesterday seasoned with cashews and miso. He has eaten all those ingredients before but not together.

Welcome to HCM.
It might be due to some allergic reaction.You have to find out the triggering factor for his allergy.
It might be due to consumed food items,you have to be watchful for next time.
You can give levocetrizine or fexofenedine to subside allergic reaction.
Apply calamine/aloevera lotion locally.
Drink more water.
Start treatment under guidance of your family physician.
