Having Noticed A Sharp Pain On The Left Knee

I have a sharp pain in my left knee after running. It is especially pronounced when I try to lift the knee. I m undergoing some physical therapy for my knee but the pain has only slightly subsided. I m interested in whta might be the cause of this (inadequate running shoes, insufficent warming-up, flat feet or something else)?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I would suggest you to show it to orthopaedic surgeon and get MRI of the knee joint to make sure that there is no inside problem like meniscus injury or ligament injury. I would also like to suggest you to take Brufen for pain relief along with ice application and compression bandage.
