hi madam/ sir, my wife aged 34 yr is old and suffering from negative thoughts. she is always thinking to loss her life by the means in which she do not want to bear any pain. earlier she was fully healthy person and this syptom has came in her life since last two years after an incidence of father heart attack kindly guid me for treatment in kolkata area.
The symptoms given by you probably points towards "Major depressive disorder" for which proper treatment is required from a psychiatrist. The treatment options are-
1) Antidepressants
2) Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
3) ECT (Electro- Convulsive Therapy).

Thanks for your query.Your wife lost her father 2 years back and since then developed negative thoughts in her mind.This is normal reaction of a human being that occurs after death of a nearest and dearest one .Please consult some psychiatrist who will asses her problem and treat accordingly.Please do not neglect it as there is danger of she going into depression.This is 100% curable.
