Have Stomach Ache. Ultrasound Report Shows Urinary Bladder Distended, Cystitis. Suggest?

in ultrasound report of wife its shows "urinary bladder well distended and shows internal echoes within. normal wall. no evidence of any filling defect is seen within it.
Impression :- CYSTITIS please correlate clinically"
what's this means?? actually i ultrasound after doc consultant, my wife got pain in stomach since last night.
pls suggest

Hello dear,

Cystitis means inflammation of the Urinary bladder.
It indicates Urinary tract infection.

The treatment involves:
1. Drinking lots of water (it dilutes the urine & reduces the burning sensation)
2. Antibiotics depending upon culture & sensitivity.
3. Analgesic like paracetamol 500 mg three times in a day can be added to take care of pain and fever (if any).

So, kindly consult an Urologist & start treatment accordingly.
One more thing...she should avoid acidic foods, carbonated drinks & maintain good hygiene.
There is no need to worry...she will perfectly alright after taking the course of antibiotics.
