I woke up 3 days ago with 4 red dots in a straight line, not raised, skin feels fine. A half inch away was a triangle shaped gouge (which looked inflamed around the edge), the size of my baby fingernail. The gouge now has a scab on it, and the 4 dots haven t changed, but I m at a loss as to how this happened. The previous (before this happened) night I was clipping my toe nails and my skin looked normal. It s on the inside of my left ankle, 1/2 - 1 inch above the ankle bone, still pink around the edges, but now warmth or heat to the skin....It doesn t hurt but I can feel it s there.
