Have Red Bump Underneath The Top Of Belly Button Jewelry. How To Avoid This?

Hi. We'll I have this red bump underneath the top part of my belly button jewelry. I've tried cleaning my belly button piercing with Rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, soap and water, and even just water. But it doesn't seem to be helping. The first question is, Do you know what this bump could be? The bump is not hard. It's tender.

hello friend,

As per your description, it seems your belly button area has got some infection.

Its good that you are cleaning it regularly with soap and water.

But it wont be sufficient to cure the infection.

I will advice you to take some oral antibiotics and topical antibiotic cream under medical supervision.

So, better you visit your dermatologist or if possible you can send me a pic of the affected part so that i can help you further.

Thanx.

Get well soon.
