Have Recurring Bacterial Infections. On Flagyl. Can I Get Rid Of It Permanently?

Hi Dr. Lundi..just wanted to know is there a long term solution for reoccurring bacteria infections. From the beginning of the year up until now I ve had a struggle back and forth with bacteria and yeast infections. My doctor will perscrbe me Flagyl or Met. for the bacteria infection and then Diflucan for an yeast infection. One always lead to the other.
