Have Patches And Whiteheads All Over Body During Pregnancy. Could It Be An Allergic Reaction?

OK I am 28 weeks pregnant and I have Nicky lookin patches that appear often on my arms. As well as these small bumps that ate red but almost could pass as small whiteheads on the back of my neck 1 by my collar bone. Plus as of recent I have been breaking out in hives almost everywhere. I am concerned for my unborn child s well being plzzz help me understand. My doc did tell me to mention if I was trashy or always itchy. But at that time of day when I was told I wasn t experiencing these symptoms. She said it could be something like an allergic reaction to my baby. I don t know I m on vacation and need answers ASAP. So I can find something to relieve this irritation. Sincerely, Jasmine Holloway

Hi,
I can understand your concern for the non-itchy and painless rash all over your body.

After reading the query, in my opinion it is simple process known as "pregnancy induced pruritus" or papular eruptions of pregnancy".

I suggest you to apply medium potency steroid cream application because are best effective in these condition. I would have opted for either mometasone or Fluticasone or cortisone cream.

Do not pinch, pop or scratch or een touch the area unnecessarily as it can cause aggravation of the rash.

Wear cotton clothes and cotton inner garments which will give a soothing feeling to the skin.

Stay away from extreme of environment such heat and humidity.

All of these problems will be over after delivery.

Take care.
