Have Pain Under Glans Penis. Have Heart Disease. Painful Erection, Crooked Glans. Help
Good afternoon Doctor, I am a 60 year old male and over the past few months I have had a mild pain just under the glans of my penis. My wife and I seldom have intercourse, major reason being my advanced heart disease and a plethora of medication. Achieving a sustainable erection is difficult and is mildly painful and even in a flaccid state I experience some minor discomfort. To touch or squeeze the glans does not increase the pain. About three weeks ago I had an erection and noticed the glans has become very crooked while the remainder is straight. When I look down at my erect penis the glands has shifted about twenty degrees to my right and about ten degrees towards my belly. I have not experienced and bodily injures and there has been no changes in my overall health or medication changes. I am five foot ten inches tall and weigh 175 pounds. I do not have a big belly and am in overall good physical condition. I'm hoping you may be able to guide me in a direction to restore my penis to a straight condition.
Hi Your problem is probably due to side effects of some of the medicines, age, may be reduced testosterone, and ???diabetes /hypertension. What you are describing is called peyronie's disease. Generally it happens due to microvascular injuries sustained during sex, more so in woman superior position. It is associated with painful erection . Till the pain persist up to 1 year after onset, it is treated by medicines . Sometimes it resolves. In case doesn't, surgery is the only option. Consult a urologist for opinion
