Have Pain In Stomach Which Eases After Bowel Movement. Found Blood In Toilet Paper. Reason?

Dear Doctor, I am 44 year old male. I sometimes have a pain on my left side lower stomach . The pain normally feels better when I pass wind, or I go to the bathroom. I have also notice that after being to the bathroom and I wipe myself clean, there are little traces of blood on the toilet paper. The pain suddenly appears and goes after one of the aforementioned activities.

Although blood on wiping yourself can be from hemorrhoids or anal fissure the combination with pain in the left abdomen necessitates further examination .I suggest you see a surgeon as a matter of urgency to do a colonoscopy on you to confirm the diagnosis.
