Have Lump Under Right Armpit, Bruised, Hurts, Bubbles Popped, Drain Pus And Blood.
I have a lump under my right armpit. It was first bruised and it hurt when I touched it. I put witch hazel on it and these 2 pus bubbles popped and drained alot of pus and blood together. The next day I saw 2 holes where the pus bubbles used to be and it looks gross and it still feels like there is still some pus still draining out a little and it still looks a little bruised and the feels like its going away. What is this?
After reading short history, I feel that there may be possibly hidradenitis suppurativa. It is usually occuring in axilla and groin area. There may be swelling with openings in the form of sinuses. When pressure is given, the pus may come out of it.
You consult the dermatologist. After cleansing the lesion and removing the pus, one may give intralesional steroid. And that may improve the lesion.
Take antibiotics like minocycline and it may be taken for long time. Dapsone may be helpful in in reducing the lesion.
I hope you got my answer.
Thanks
