Have Knock Knees. Will It Get Cured If I Lose Weight? Need Surgery?
i think i have knock knees. im turning 17 in june and im 5"5-ish and i weigh 180 pounds (and losing slowly thank god). and i want to know if i lose weight (and how much will it take) will my knock knees heal automatically? or should i get
like knee braces or something? or do i need surgery... if i do surgery will it alter anything? like i like to play basketball and run around a lot... will it affect me in a bad way? if yes for how long?

i hv studied your case
how much severe it is , means when you stand straight with knee just touching each other ,how much distance between your ankle?
are you having any other problem
at age of 17 there is little scope of deformity correction
use brace till that time
if genu valgum is severe then you will need surgical correction
yes weight reduction is very important for succses of surgery
you can play your sports after recovering from surgery
take calcium suppliment with vit D
