Have Itching At Finger Base, Arms And Genitalia, Red Spots. Tried Local Soothing, Antihistaminics, Steroids
my boy ,10 yrs old started having itching first at the bases of his fingers on the dorsal aspect and arms then in his genitalia about a month ago , then his two brothers (also 10 yrs)also got itching in their genitalia and latter i ( their mum ) got itching but mostly in my breast and nipples.... on examing the itching area i see tiny red spots or see nothing ..i tried local soothing then antihistaminics(claritine) and now steroids , but i see only little improvement... what do u recomend

This is a skin infection spreading with skin to skin contact. , seems to be scabies.It is due to mite & difficult to cure because of it's tendency to infect & reinfect.
The treatment solely depends on use of the anti sacbies lotion regularly;
avoid contact with others & avoid infection
Lotion to be applied to whole body except face, after a good scrub & bath to affected area for 3 -5 days..The lotion should be kept away from children's reach.
Infected person not to share clothes ,bed with others..
The management of clothing used by the person to be washed after boiling it with washing soda,drying in sunlight.
For diagnosis after inspection of the lesion & systemic drugs( if needed) advice of a skin specialist is worthwhile
