Have Diarrhea, Stomach Pain. Taking Acetaminophen. Blood Test Shows Elevated Liver Enzymes. Serious?

I have been having stomach problems involving frequent diahrea and a burning pain in the center of my stomach. I am also taking pain medicine for chronic and acute pain. I have been taking approximately 4,000 mg of acetaminophen daily. I just had a blood test with a result of elevated liver enzymes. It showed an ALT of 93. I am a 38 year old female who suffers from arthritis, fibromyalgia and a bad back due to a MVA 20 years ago. I burst fractured L3,4 and 5. I am concerned about this test result. How serious of a problem does it indicate? The Nurse just said she would test me again in a week and didn't seem concerned. Is this permanent damage or if my levels go down am I okay? They are also testing a stool sample for a parasite due to the stomach problems I've been having. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

drug induced liver injury (paracetamol 4 gms /day). do usg abdomen and screen for diabetes, Hepatitis B and c virus. suggest upper gi endoscopy and sigmoidoscopy for abdominal pain and diarrhoea. # l3 ,l4 and L5 managed conservatively. check for other pain killers you are taking that may cause abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Do ANA , CRP and ESR. Stop taking medication (HEPATO TOXIC ) till ALT is normalised . IF OVER WEIGHT KINDLY REDUCE YOUR WEIGHT. IF ALCOHOL USER -STOP TAKING ALCOHOL.
