Have Developed A Soft Spot On The Head. Did X-ray. States Remolding, Arachnoid Granulation. Pains. Suggestions?

Hi. I am a 29 year old female and I just developed a soft spot on my head. It's where a baby's soft spot would be. I got a skull X-ray done and the results were inconclusive. It states that there was questionable remolding. It also states that it could be prominent arachnoid granulation, vascular remolding, or other space occupying processes. I got a cat scan done yesterday and have an appt for next week. What does this mean? I'm really worried. I have not had any head injury and when I push down on it I get a headache.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi there ~

I understand your concern. Considering that the x ray that was done states remolding and arachnoid granulation I would suggest that you get a CT or an MRI brain done to makes sure that you do not have an organic lesion in your brain. I also think that the granulation tissue may mean nothing at all while at the same time the hypersensitivity will go away in a few days. If not please visit a neuropsychiatrist who can help solve the issue.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
