Have Blocked Ears. Fatigue And Dizzy Spells. Prescribed Antihistamines And Steroids. Problem?
After a cold/flu infection 10 weeks ago I developed blocked ears about 6 weeks ago, but also started becoming easily fatigued and have a 'foggy/distanced' feeling. Also occasional short dizzy spells. I have tried antihistamines and prescription steroids (spray and drops) for the ears - as it was suspected Eustachian Tube Dysfunction, but these are not helping. I am not sure whether the ear and fatigue problems are related (they started at exactly the same time) or whether there is an underlying problem.
Hello Friend Welcome to H.C.M as per the history you have given and the clinical findings you may be suffering with eustachian tube dysfunction. antihistaminics cause some drowsiness and secondly cold and flu may be the cause of genaralised weakness. this will go on its own . You can stop steroids now. i usually prescribe multivitamins. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more query. i will be pleased to answer. With best wishes for a speedy cure Yours sincerely The Health Caremagic Medical Team
