Hi
Thanks for writing in.
After reading your post,my suggestions would be: Homeopathy would definately help you. Meanwhile you can try following things:
1)when acanthosis nigricans is related to obesity ,reducing weight can often reverse the condition. So add 40 mins exercise in your daily routine. Try different type of exercise like cardio, yoga and weight training.
2)eat fresh and wholesome food.

Homeopath Dr. Radha Reddy's  Response
Hello..

Thanks for the question.
I am sure you might have researched about it by now. Acanthosis nigricans is a skin manifestation in Insulin resistance. Insulin resistance instead may be due to obesity, hormonal imbalances, thyroid irregularities commonly. In obesity, insulin secretion is stimulated to keep the blood sugar levels in check; but decreases the activity of the insulin receptors thus causing insulin resistance.
Hence, mere topical applications of depigmenting ointments will not suffice. Flutivate is an antifungal, which is not the case here.
Homeopathy is capable of correcting the fundamental problem of insulin resistance. You will also need supportive physical exercise (must) and a good reasonable dietary plan.

Hope you found your answer!
Thanks again!

2. consult with a gynecologist regarding any hormonal imbalances (Thyroid profile/ PCOS)
