Hi,
You can expect a withdrawal bleed 3-7 days after completion of treatment with hormones. For the specific treatment of PCOD, there is a protocol of investigations to be done and treatment is planned according to the specific problem detected. These include a complete hormonal assay, glucose tolerance test, DHEAS levels, tubal patency if trying to conceive, trans-vaginal sonogram to view the uterus and ovaries. Maintenance of a healthy body weight, regular exercise and a healthy diet go a long way in the treatment. Meditation can help ease out the stress; please take the support of a psychologist if needed. Take care.
