Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,
You had an abscess, which has been recently incised and drained.
The lump like feel may be due to the packing.
Your pain has subsided remarkably which is a sign of improvement.
Keep faith on your doctor. Take the antibiotics and other medications regularly as per his/her advice. In due course of time everything will be fine.
Regards,
