Hard Knotted Boil, Reddish. Applied Antibiotic Ointment. What Is It?

I have a hard knotted boil, that just today became very reddish and I put damp heat on it and pulled the skin around the area and it began to bleed a lot. It started as kind of a blemish on my shoulder toward back. I washed with wound saline solution and put antiobiotic ointment on it. It looks as if it has a hole in the middle and loose skin around the hole, but is still very reddish. What is it?

Hi, it appears to be a unripe boil, or a hemangeoma. i advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis, if it is boil wait till it is ripe, you can have it incised and drained the pus, if it is hamangioma, or hematoma the doctor will do excision. Thank you.
