Had Sex Without Protection. Found Peeling Of Skin From The Head Of Penis. Having Itchiness And Burning Sensation.Reason? Cure?
Dear Doctor, i had sex 15 days back without protection. This is my first sex session. Just from 4 days, i find peeling of skin from the head of the penis, in the form of white scale, very thin. It's now very less though. it is very itchy from the day one and in between i feel the burning sensation. and from last two day i noticed a sunburn type ring in the base of the head with slightly swollen skin. what could be the reason and cure for this. Please suggest..........

Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have infection of the glans penis with formation of a constricting ring at coronal sulcus of the penis,this is termed as Paraphimosis.
This is most likely to be due to dry vigorous sex.
Take broad spectrum antibiotic orally and topical antibiotic ointment for local application over Glans penis for a week.Get prescription of the medicines from your family Physician.
It shroud get cured with this treatment.However if problem persists ,or swelling of the foreskin increase, consult qualified General surgeon or Urologist for clinical examination and .further treatment.You may need incise the constricting band that is there around the base of the glans.
