General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

High blood pressure is a common condition and if well controlled, does not cause any complications.

You should continue your physical activity, it will play an important part in helping to control your blood pressure. In addition , diet changes are also important. This means reducing salt intake, reducing alcohol use, using fruits and vegetables, reducing fat intake.

In most hypertensives diet and exercise on their own is not enough. This may be the case for you. It is not unusual and it does not mean that you will have any complications related to hypertension.

It means that you may need medication to help to keep it in control.

I hope this helps
